Cookies

It is almost time again.  Girl Scout cookie time.  I have 3 girl scouts at my house.  E is a daisy, A is a junior and L is a senior.   I see lots of thin mints and caramel delights coming through my door in the very near future.  Yum!  These are my favorites.  Lemonades are right up there too.  What is your favorite girl scout cookie?  Sales start the 19th so start saving your change.  We'll be knocking on your door soon.

G is walking

Look out world my baby is walking!!!  He has been taking one or two steps for a few weeks but no more.  6 or 7 is now the norm.  He looks so cute.  If I can figure out how to post a picture I will.  I am off to buy some new running shoes now so I can keep up with him :)

I am really trying

Well it seems that when I want to blog the computer decides it is not such a good idea.  My computer died for quite a while there.  I did not think it was coming back.  Then when it came back to life, I could not get on to my blog to post.  Finally, I think it is working for me again.  Maybe soon I can do this on a regular basis with out all the computer glitches. 
My house keeping has also been not working so well.  I can use all the excuses.  Kids. Holidays. School.  Really everyone else has to do the same things and they seem to be able to keep up.  So no more excuses.  I am using http://www.motivatedmoms.com/ and it is wonderful.  I have tried before and tweeked it.  I have a bad habit of trying to reinvent the wheel.  The tweeking ruined it.  I am trying again.  No tweeking.  It is great.  My house is getting clean.  I am remembering my vitamins.  I am exercising.  It is wonderful.  Now if it will just continue to work next week When we start school again :)

Maybe this is not such a good thing

Well I played with my blog last night trying to make it feel more like me.  It was fun.  The only problem, I stayed up untill after 1 am.  Then I finished my book.  Bed at 2:15 is not a good idea if you are trying to stay on a schedule.  Okay I have to fit this into the schedule.  When do you blog?  Where do you fit it in?  Hints please.

Well my friend Marie over at Eclectic Homeschooler has been having fun with her new blog ,so I thought I would try again.  I am excited to say there are a few changes at my house.  My super, fantastic, most awesome husband (aka Mr. B) has been hard at work fixing up our bathroom .  We have new paint (cafe a late), a new light, new flooring and a new toilet.  It is beautiful.  He is going to finish it out with cedar trim hopefully tomorrow.  I have been waiting not so patiently for 5 years for this.  When I figure out the picture thing I will let you have a peak. I am so blessed by this.  We all just are so excited. Have you done anything new at your house lately?

My world on bedrest

I was afraid this day would come but I so hoped it wouldn't. I seem to hit a point in all my pregnancies that I start contracting way too soon. That day has come again. I started getting uncomfortable on Sunday. By Sunday evening I had to call my midwife for advice. After finishing all the cramp bark I had they finally stopped. Monday I rested all morning and then took a shower in the afternoon. About an hour later after sitting on the couch for a little while they were back again. A wine cooler and a hot bath helped. Tuesday and Wednesday I spent in bed. I hate it. It really stresses my family. I am trying to research what could cause this. I am trying to eat more protein and watch my diet more closely. I really want to be up and part of my family. This seems really hard at this time of year. I keep telling myself it would be worse if the baby comes early and I have to spend the holidays at the hospital. T was born at the end of 31 weeks and I am at 31 1/2 weeks so that makes me even more nervous. Lord please help this baby stay where he needs to be until he is healthy enough to be born.

Another Crazy Day

Well it's been another crazy day in my world. We had our church youth group spend the night after taking them to a concert. All but one just left. I think I can almost hear myself think now. Miss A is sick. Fever of 102 and a nasty headache. Mr B took all the kids home and then took Mr N to a friends to spend the night and go paint balling tomorrow and take Mr J tohis end of season football party. We were suppose to have a garage sale with the youth group but it was raining this morning. Thank the Lord for rain. I am ready to rest now. Hope everyone else is having a great and restful weekend.
